A great photograph is a combination of both the subject and the passion of the photographer

What I Do

I love moments that can easily be missed. Preserving a point in time, be it the look on a face whilst chatting to a friend, a perfect reflection before the wind distorts the water or the way the sunlight refracts through a rain drop on a leaf. These moments can often be missed as we go about our busy lives.

Who I Am

I live and work in Ashbourne, Derbyshire, a town just south of the Peak District. I have a wealth of inspiration on my doorstep, the town is rich in history and full of character. The Peaks are constantly changing with the seasons and offer so much beauty and variety in my photography. I consider myself very lucky to live here.

Below are some examples of my work, from portraiture and products to landscapes and natural images. Please feel free to browse and if you like what you see or have any questions, please get in touch.

"Photography for me is not looking, it's feeling. If you can't feel what your looking at, then you're never going to get others to feel anything when they look at your pictures." - Don McCullin
